Taste Kyoto Wine at Amanohashidate Winery

Howdy? It’s Mr. Wada on duty. Did you enjoy the previous post? Hey, there’s a place to stop by before that. A winery!

Amanohashidate Winery

“Why winery?” To answer this question, our wine-freak friend who accompanied us wanted to take a look at this place. Hehe.

Amanohashidate Wine

It looks more like a souvenir store. Of course everyone’s welcome.

Wine Brewing Room

As you enter, a little winery tour begins. See how wine is made (it was not open though).

Wine Cellar

Wine is kept at the wine cellar downstairs.

Grape Field

There are grape fields out there. It would’ve been full of grapes in autumn though…

Wine and Food

Since we are at a winery, we gotta try wine right?

Since I was driving I had to pick something without alcohol. This white wine ice-cream would be the one!

Souvenir

There’s lots of stuff for souvenir. What to get…let’s see.

We got chocolate and little wine bottles for ourselves.

Lunch Time

Feel hungry? Good news for you. There is a seafood restaurant just 50 meters away from this winery.

Note: Don refers “on rice”

Lastly

This winery is on the way to Amanohashidate. It sure would be worth stopping by! Hope it helps.
