Thrilling Basaltic Cliffs in Tojinbo

Hola. It’s Mr. Wada on duty. I may have sounded like Fukui is not so exciting. Hey, Obama isn’t the only place to visit in Fukui. There is another place where it has been a lot more known for a long time. That’s Tojinbo!

Welcome to Obama City!

Tojinbo, Fukui: Stone landmark

About Tojinbo

It’s the international park with a bunch of 25-meter high basaltic cliffs standing. Japanese suspense dramas feature Tojinbo very often with so much dramas and murders.

There ain’t no ropes or anything to hold on. As you see in the photos some people go to the very tip of the cliffs but keep in mind that it’s all at your risk. Watch your step and take nice photos!

Iwaba Cafe

There are some places to rest nearby. This Iwaba Cafe has nice window seats.tojinbo_iwaba_cafe

Cooling down with drinks. This fruits punch juice is so gooood!
