バナーネ/ロングドゥートをリベンジで初収穫 Trying Longue d’Aoutfor the first time

先日鳥に先を越されて涙をのんだロングドゥート、ちょっと早い気がしたけど、同じ轍は踏まぬようにと即収穫(カバーすればいいだけの話なんだが、すべての苗を守るのは難しい)。

うん、本来の味からは異なるかもしれないけど、甘いけど、甘すぎずイケる。一緒に食べたドーフィン(超完熟)よりかはさっぱりした甘さかな。先日食したホワイトゼノアは歯が浮くくらい超絶甘かったので恐る恐るかじったところ、今回はマイルドな甘さだった。

やはり熟し度合いによるのかな?

Since birds got Longue d’Aoutfor before me last time, I wouldn’t wait too long this time. It looked a bit early but decided to pick not to do the same mistake (I could just cover the plant tho).

It was pretty sweet. Not too sweet as white Genoa that I had the other day which almost gave me tooth ache. Juicy and sweet. A Dauphine I had today was super ripen so sweetnessi wouldn’t really compare sweetness. A white Genoa also was a lot milderin term of sweetness. I suppose it really depends on how much they are ripen.
