Cozy cafe moyau in Okayama

cafe mayau okayama

Hi there, it’s Mrs. Wada back on duty. I would like to share a Kominka Cafe called cafe moyau in Okayama City this time.

Cozy cafe moyau in Okayama

It is a kominka (traditional Japanese house) cafe located downtown Okayama, quite close to Korakuen Garden and Okayama Castle. Location-wise it is super convenient for tourists. It would be nice to sit and chill out for the entire afternoon sometime, would it?

A nice wooden house with western interior.

It’s got nice tatami seats upstairs as well.

The window seat is always the best.

So it’s just across from Korakuen Garden. Watching the river makes you forget all the bad thoughts and stress…for a moment.

Drinks with a crumble cake in unique plate and cups.

Let’s call it a day,

CAFE QINEMA in Toiyacho Okayama

Hi there, it’s Mr. Wada back on duty. I would like to introduce CAFE QINEMA in Toiyacho, Okayama City.

CAFE QINEMA in Toiyacho, Okayama

CAFE QINEMA is located in edge of Toiyacho (several blocks away from Onsaya Coffee), inside a business building. Sort of a hole in a wall.

CAFE QINEMA in Toiyacho Okayama

Looks calm with the toned-down lights. Most of seats are distance from others so it gives more privacy. Perhaps ideal for a date night?

Seeing the night view of Toiyacho through displays (mugs, etc).

We got a piece of cake and some drinks. Cheers! (clink)

Note: This cafe seems to accept smoking. (>x<)

How do you find it? Personally I prefer non-smoking cafe. That’s a minus, I’d have to say. However, aside from that, it was pretty neat.
