いちじくが終わりを迎える fig season is over

イチジクがそろそろ終わり。先週までは秋のゆっくり熟した果実が楽しめたけど気温も下がってきたので潮時かな。収量もぐっと減ったし、実も良さげでない。

We still had well-ripen figs until last week but as temps have gone lower, trees don’t seem to grow much anymore. I suppose this is it for this year. Picked one this morning but it didn’t look great……
