Year 2 – January Week 2: Hunting discounted strawberry seedlings

Planted extra strawberry seedlings this week. These are all leftover from home center, being sold 75% off from its regular price! Not expecting to harvest this spring but hopefully next year.

Still having hard time to decide which direction to position the strawberry plants especially that these ones have really small crowns.

Rye and crimson clover plants are growing slowly. I’ve read that stepping into young rye plants several times will help them grow stronger, so I tried it and we’ll see how it goes.
