2023 Autumn: Growing String beans

September 5, 2023:

Sowed string beans directly into the bed.

October 9, 2023:

Saw more flower buds and some are even starting to bloom. Hilled up a bit to keep the plant straight up.

October 19, 2023:

Flowers are blooming but I don’t see any string beans yet. Some plants are bending and might break up without the support. Better setup a simple trellis soon.

October 25, 2023:

Spotted string beans forming this morning. Might be able to harvest some soon.
