Year 2 – June Week 2: Harvests

Harvest season for strawberry and mulberry already ended. Next fruit harvest would be blackberries and hopefully some blueberries, too.

From early June, we started harvesting potatoes, the Toya variety. The leaves just suddenly turned yellowish in a span of week, with lots of holes. Probably caused by insects. Also, we see scabs forming on some of the potatoes.

Other harvests include garlic and onions. For garlic, we harvested around 10 pieces in medium size and the rest are very small. On the other hand, we harvested lots of onions both small and medium sizes.
