Kaffee Barnack in Okayama City
Kaffee Barnack is located in the Aoe area (Kita ward), along the Route 30. The building looks not so visible but I wouldn’t miss it.
As you enter the cafe, a lady serves you over the counter. I suppose she’s the owner. It has huge selection of coffee beans displayed on the wall which is about 30. Some coffee beans look unfamiliar like …Mexico? I don’t think I’ve tried one.
So I’ve got this Mexican coffee with some pastry.
Speaking of atmosphere, I didn’t feel much pressure but this cafe isn’t a place for a long stay. A bit like a bar, I suppose. Drink and go. However, we were a bit amazed by its selection and our coffee was actually pretty good. Something different from regular coffee we have.
Let’s call it a day.
