Meotoiwa (Wedded Rocks) in Takahashi City
Miotoiwa (夫婦岩) is a pair of stones standing in the mountain in Takahashi City, Okayama. Huge parking is available nearby.
Follow and walk down the road for a minute and here comes the rocks.
The ‘husband’ stone (about 12 meters) and the ‘wife’ stone (about 16 meters) just look like they are holding each other. It is said that it looks like they are holding a baby between them (does it?)
A great spot for picnic. Let’s grab some bread from Industry bakery in Soja.
Hey, there’s another seat down a path. The views are even better.
Let’s call it a day.
