4 Popular Bars in Okayama City

Pin Ball Cafe

It is just a 5-minute walk from the JR Okayama Station. Whenever I stop by it is jam-packed, that shows how popular it is huh? The owner (I think) looks sorta funky and friendly enough even in the crowd. I definitely recommend trying out the foosball table. If you are with your buddies you gotta try it. Foods shouldn’t be expected, so it is more ideal after eating.

Aussie Bar

It is owned by an Australian guy (that makes sense, doesn’t it?). Walk through the shopping street beside JR Okayama Station for 5 minutes-ish, it’s along the Nishigawa River. It is a compact and at-home bar. Many foreigners come over on the weekends. It could be a nice place for having fun without a company. People are friendly.

Matador

It is a semi-Latin concept bar. Only 1-2 blocks away from Pin Ball Cafe. It serves some food menu like Nachos.
This place throws events more occasionally than other bars like DJ nights, Halloween night, etc. Information gets updated on its website. Check it out. I used to play foosball there but it seems to have moved to the Pin Ball Cafe (I’m still wondering if that’s the same table).

GB’s Cafe

It is a 20-minute walk from JR Okayama Station (near Okayama University). Since it is located near the university, many students hang out there. It mainly serves Western food like burgers, fries, etc.
