Hi there. It’s Mr. Wada back on duty. I would like to introduce Takahashi Castle.
Takahashi Castle and The Cat Lord Sanjuro
Aside from the beautiful nature in Takahashi City like Hayama Valley, fireflies etc., it offers historical stuff as well. This Bitchu Matsuyama Castle a.k.a. Takahashi Castle is about a 10-minute drive from JR Takahashi Station. From the nearest parking to the castle is a little bit of hiking for 20 minutes.
Here we are. Pay for admission and let’s go check out the castle.
The cat lord Sanjuro welcomes you after the entrance gate. He’s normally on duty during the day. He kinda looks grumpy or not so friendly but probably he’s just used to humans. Make way!
Anyways, let’s enter and take a look at the castle. I can tell it is well-maintained (even though after being renovated in the past).
We could go up the stairs and check the top floor where must’ve been for a lord.
At this moment the castle is all mine.
